MITECH RBA anti-salt agent

MITECH RBA anti-salt agent is a silane-siloxane resin product in water dispersion and in milk-white colour that provides a temporary barrier against any salt types generating efflorescences in buildings being transferred by the capillarity-driven incoming water. It does not contain organic solvents. After penetrating into the damp and saline containing material it binds any salts (chlorides, sulphates, nitrates etc.) and creates a temporary barrier for their further migration for the time needed to bind and harden Mitech renovation render/plaster. The product features: strong penetration into mineral substrates – highly damp, higher reactivity in the environment of saline walls and an effective protective action for several weeks. The preparation is recommended for use in case of all types of salt efflorescences (chlorides, sulphates and nitrates). It is easy and safe to use being environmentally friendly as it is a water-based product that does not contain any organic solvents and harmful substances. The product is intended to generate a barrier against salts contained in a mineral substrate that prevents their penetration into the fresh part of salt gathering renovation render/plaster during its setting and hardening. The preparation should be used absolutely prior to applying renovation renders/plasters on all damp bulkheads (partitions) (walls, foundation walls, ceilings, pillar, etc.) regardless of the existing salinity level. It is especially recommended for use on historical buildings. It is suitable for use in the following salinity levels of bulkheads (partitions) according to WTA guidelines:
– low (below 0.4% by weight), 
– medium (0.4 – 1.0 % by weight),
– high (1.0 – 3.0 % by weight).
