MITECH RZT renovation render mortar is a dry mix of special cements and selected aggregates, containing aerating and hydrophobic properties and adhesion boosting admixtures. It is ready-to-use after mixing with water and proper aeration. After adding and mixing with water a grey coloured render mortar is obtained, featuring perfect plasticity, easy to apply on vertical surfaces and ceilings. It is intended for applying hydrophobic, vapour-permeable renovation (repair) renders on walls and ceilings susceptible to capillary water rising and to protect against efflorescence and moulds. Capillary water rising in the bonded mortar is neutralised by hydrophobic properties or renovation render. The render remains almost always dry. At the same time the high porosity of render makes it easier for damp to get out from the wall in the form of steam. The process of drying the wall damped as a result of the capillary rise of water is as follows: porous render/plaster attracts damp from the wall. The damp evaporates on the border wall-render and in the form of steam quickly emigrates through the renderwork to the outside. At the same time, the hydrophobic properties of the render blocks the new inflow of water to the wall e.g. from rain. When the wall contains water soluble salts, the render blocks the phenomenon of efflorescences on the render surface, because it moves inside the wall or render the zone of water evaporation and salt crystallisation. It prevents efflorescences on the renderwork surface. High hydrophobic properties and permeability to water vapour make the render/plaster especially recommended as external (façade) render to be applied on damp old building walls as a render preventing from water capillary rise and efflorescence generation, resistant to water jets brought by the wind as well as frosting/defrosting cycles. Internal, drying in underground storeys of buildings exposed to the capillary rising of water, as a render that reduces the occurrence of condensation and preventing the growth of bacteria, moulds, lichens, algae, etc. It is recommended for use on walls with a low and medium salinity level. For high salinity levels we recommend using the Mitech RZT-WTA renovation render.
WARNING! The render is not suitable for use in permanent contact with the damp ground and for permanent contact with stationary or floating water. It should not be used as a barrier/stopper against water, it is not suitable e.g. for applying it on external foundation side and as a layer directly contacting the ground.Application temperature +5°C to +25°C Temperature resistance -20°C to +90°C Usability time 60 minutes Consumption per recommended 2 cm thick layer 24 kg/m² Packaging 25 kg bags
