MITECH RPI injection fluid is a deep penetration silica compound based fluid agent modified with hydrophobising admixtures. The preparation penetrates into the substrate, while the chemical compounds generated as a result of binding interrupts capillary rise and create additional substrate reinforcing bonds – impermeable to damp. The surface saturated with the fluid becomes hydrophobic. When drying damp walls the anti-damp injection is a complementary technology that supports the method of drying with renovation plasters/renders. The preparation is intended for reproducing horizontal waterproofing in concrete, brick, stone walls etc.. It can be also used to seal fine hairline cracks and cracks up to 0.5 mm wide, and also to reinforce substrates. It can be introduced in the substrate by pressure or gravity injection or using painting techniques with a brush, roller or a sprayer. It is not suitable for use on gypsum substrates.
